Posted on Jul 30, AM. Page content loaded. I want to make fade before and after audio regions, and for some reason it won’t let me. You cannot make fades before or after regions, only inside regions, at the start or the end. Also, fades only work on audio regions. Furthermore, your fade tool is set to cmd -click, so I must ask: are you actually holding the command key when attempting to fade inside audio regions?

We used to be able to on LP9 but with clicks all over the audio. I would have thought that this would be addressed in LPX. Who on earth wouldn’t need to use fades on audio that has flex turned on?

I might wish to correct a vocal word right in the middle of a tracking session and comp that flexed audio with an ordinary non-flexed region.
